"A Good school with Outstanding Leadership" - June 2017

We are delighted to say that following our latest SIAMS inspection in June 2017, we were officially designated as a Good school with Outstanding Leadership. This inspection examines how the Christian ethos of the school supports all aspects of school life. We were very proud to show how all the hard work of the staff, pupils, governors, the Vale Academy Trust and the church contribute towards making our school the happy and successful place it is today.

The Christian ethos of the school is evident every day to the whole school community, through worship, the values of the school, and how we teach and develop our children. Our vision "Life in all its fullness" encourages us all to make the most of school life here at St Nicholas. 

St Nicholas is one of several other Church Schools in the Vale Academy Trust rated as 'Good' by SIAMS, and we are especially proud to have had the Outstanding features of our leadership recognised in this way.
