St Nicholas C of E Primary School in East Challow is a school where children are valued as individuals and are helped to achieve their own personal best. Children are supported in becoming happy, confident and independent young people, who thrive on challenge, and are motivated to learn. Our unique, rural school offers a warm, welcoming, happy and safe environment for children to succeed and flourish.
'Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart' Colossians 3:23
At St Nics, we aspire to nurture an inclusive community where every individual is loved and valued for who they are, so that they recognise and realise their unique talents and potential.
We flourish through loving ourselves, each other, our school and the wider world. We grow in compassion and confidence and develop our resilience through the courage to embrace learning and new challenges.
The boys are so happy at school. They feel safe and cared for. I love it and all of the support given is amazing. Thank you
St Nics is a wonderful school lead by a team who go out of their way to support their community and I cannot speak highly enough of what they have done for us as a family
I feel that the vision upheld by the school has had a profound impact on both the community and the students. Through it's focus on values, the school fosters and environment where children not only excel academically but also grow into responsible, caring individuals
I think this school is amazing! Both my children are happy and thriving. The teaching staff are wonderful and supportive. It feels like a very caring and nurturing environment which will help my children to grow and develop. I love that my daughter comes home singing songs she's learnt or bringing back something she's made. Her phonics and maths are developing well, which is great, but I also love how the school seems to value the arts and play (especially outdoors) just as much. The weekly forest school provision is also brilliant, and I hope this continues! Thank you all for doing such an amazing job when I know times are so tough for schools currently.
