Our Vision and Values
'Be the best you can be for yourself and for others.'
Learning from the life of St Nicholas, we value each individual's unique gifts, enabling them to be the best versions of themselves while inspiring others. We aspire to all individuals enjoying life in all its fullness by being respectful and compassionate for themselves and others, both in our own community and the wider world.
Our associated values of Belonging, Resilience and Compassion support this vision.
Promoting Fundamental British Values
In accordance with the Department for Education we actively promote British Values in our school to ensure young people leave school prepared for life in modern Britain. Pupils are encouraged to regard people of all faiths, races and cultures with respect and tolerance and understand that while people may hold different views about what is 'right' and 'wrong', all people living in England are subject to its laws.
The British Values are:
Rule of Law
Tolerance of those of difference faiths and beliefs
