Red Kites - Years 5 and 6

Welcome to Red Kites, our Yr5/6 class.  Red Kites is taught by Mrs Mallinson and Mrs Richards, and supported by Mr Mackay, Ms Tugwell and Mrs Ambrose.  Our project this term is Dynamic Dynasties. This project teaches children about the history of ancient China, focusing primarily on the Shang Dynasty, and explores the lasting legacy of the first five Chinese dynasties, some of which can still be seen in the world today. We are reading 'The Kite Rider' in English.  Our planning below shows how this project links with other curriculum areas and shows how we link these across this term.  Please use it to support your child's learning in class this term.
